Volume 2 is designed to make Qur’anic Arabic feel less distant by beginning with familiar words, recurring structures and practical examples from the Qur’an.
Volume 2 covers Units 4 and 5 of the Muallim ul Quran sequence. Students now work more deeply with complete Qur’anic phrases and sentences, learning how pronouns and plural forms change relationships and meaning.
The emphasis remains practical: recognize the structure in a Qur’anic example, understand what it contributes, and then notice the same pattern when it appears again elsewhere in the Qur’an.
Course I Pathway
Volume 2 is the middle step of the complete Fehm-e-Quran I learning sequence.
Inside Volume 2
Units 4–5 strengthen sentence-level understanding through pronouns, possessive structures, plural forms and recurring Qur’anic expressions.

Learn how personal and possessive pronouns such as he, she, you, I, they, we and their attached forms work inside Qur’anic phrases and sentences.

Understand how pronouns combine with nouns and prepositions so relationships such as “his”, “her”, “your”, “their” and “our” become easier to recognize directly.

Develop confidence with masculine plural forms, plural possessive constructions and longer Qur’anic sentence patterns that prepare the student for the next part of Course I.
Where Volume 2 fits: Volume 2 is part of the full HEC Fehm-e-Quran I sequence — not a standalone replacement for the complete course. HEC’s model outline continues across Volumes 1, 2 and 3.
The Muallim ul Quran Method
Volume 2 keeps the student close to real Qur’anic usage, showing how pronouns, plurals and possessive structures create relationships between words and shape the meaning of complete sentences.
Volume 2 does not ask the learner to begin by memorizing long technical definitions. Instead, it introduces concepts through patterns already present in the Qur’an.
As the same pronouns and structures recur across different verses, recognition becomes faster and sentence meaning becomes easier to follow.

Volume 2 creates the foundation on which the rest of the Fehm-e-Quran journey is built.
University Course Context
Position the book accurately: Volume 2 starts the official learning sequence; the full course continues through the remaining Course I material.
HEC’s model outline for Understanding of Quran I / Fehm-e-Quran I identifies Muallim ul Quran Volumes 1, 2 and 3 as the course books.
Within that sequence, Units 4 and 5 deepen sentence understanding through personal and possessive pronouns, pronouns with prepositions, plural forms and increasingly complete Qur’anic expressions.
This makes Volume 2 the natural continuation for a student who has completed the foundation in Volume 1, while the complete Course I pathway remains Volumes 1–3.
